Reaction
The Lowell mill girls had two seperate reactions, one for the revolution in labor and one for the revolution in women's place. The reaction to the revolution in labor was that employers did not feel the need to treat the women well. The reaction to the revolution in woman's place was that the mill girls created a family-like community.
